PLA

PLA – polilaktyd poli (lactic acid), a fully biodegradable material, is derived from natural renewable raw materials such as rice and maize. The melting point of the material is approximately 150°C, in tea production the material is used for sachets, tags and string.

FSC

FSC – is an international not-for-profit organisation that sets standards for responsible forest management, taking into account social, environmental and economic aspects. In the production of tea, the material is used for the tag, the wrapping and the packaging. The cardboard is recyclable or compostable. Printing of packaging with low-migration inks for direct/indirect food contact.

NatureFlex

NatureFlex – cellulose-based films, available in transparent, metallised or coloured versions, are an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional packaging films. Transparent film is a fully compostable and biodegradable material.
Biodegradable and compostable films are characterised by outstanding technical properties and excellent barrier protection against the penetration of odours, aromas and mineral oils. They provide enhanced product protection and a guaranteed shelf life. This makes them ideal for the production of tea packaging.
